The Delta Generators

As their name implies, The Delta Generators combine the urgency and soulfulness of delta blues with the power and energy of early rock 'n' roll. While, in the broader sense, they could be classified as a blues band, there is room on that big blue canvas for brush strokes of Memphis soul, Louisiana funk, and classic rock 'n' roll. The combination of clever songwriting and inspired performances on their new CD "Devil in the Rhythm" shows why critics and audiences are calling them the best new blues band in New England. "Devil in the Rhythm" CD debuts July1st 2008.

$15 music charge

The Acton Jazz Café 2008/09 Membership Drive!

Dear friends,

It’s time to renew our lease again, and to proceed into a bright future together with great live musical entertainment, food, drink, and camaraderie here at your Acton Jazz Cafe!

Without you, we couldn’t do it.

All existing AJC memberships expire as of 7/31/08.

Please dive in headfirst now and join a growing throng of supporters who value our world-class music in a home-grown, casual, intimate, artful leisure time atmosphere.

This summer, more than ever before, AJC needs the support, and especially the patronage, of our local friends from nearby surrounding towns. If you’re home for the weekend, please consider dropping by in person to enjoy a show, and select your membership while you’re here! Effective immediately!

Thanks, a thousand times over, for all of your encouragement and support in 2007/2008!

We are all in this together.

Yours truly,

Gwenn Vivian
