The Philippe Crettien Quartet

Philippe Crettien: Saxophone, Jazz Department Chairperson; Director of The Rivers School Jazz Program. B.A., Berklee College of Music; Honors in philosophy and literature from the French Lycée of London, musicology from the Sorbonne in Paris.  In addition to touring in Europe and South America with the Philippe Crettien Quartet featuring John Medeski and Bob Gullotti, he has performed with Andy Jaffe, Bill Baron, Ed Blackwell,  Bill Lowe, Mr. Jelly Belly and Brandford Marsalis and is currently performing with the MCFC Jazz quartet and jazz singer Ron Gill.  Director of the Toulon International Jazz Fesstival workshops in Toulon, France from 1991-2000.
