France has for long been considered a center for European art and music. The aim of this show  is to connect the listener to the deep meaning and expression of the French "chanson" of Michel Legrand, Jacques Prévert, Edith Piaf and other legendary musicians and poets. This concert captures the true essence of French popular classics like "Milord" with a jazz spin to them. Upon listening, you will suddenly find yourself in Belleville, Paris, the ethnically diverse district described by Daniel Pennac. Here you will feel the atmosphere of the "banlieue parisienne" where people lead eccentric and often seedy lives. This show has already been performed with great success at well-known theaters and concert halls throughout the United States , such as the Count BasieTheatre (NJ), Bergen Performing Arts Center(NJ), and Berklee Performance Center (Boston, MA).
