Welcome to The Acton Jazz Cafe!

Happy New Year 2012, to music lovers everywhere!
Please, click on the button on the right to join our weekly e-newsletter! This is the best way to stay in touch with us, and informed of all of our events and changes over the passage of time. Receive detailed info about weekly and special events, with photos and links to bands. It's private: we do not share addresses with anyone, period.

The Acton Jazz Cafe is one of the most highly regarded venues for live jazz and blues in New England. Just 24 miles west of Boston, the cafe offers live music every night (closed Mondays), an intimate, artistic, smoke-free atmosphere, and plentiful free parking! We have a full bar and restaurant, with select wines and beers and a delicious dinner, snack and dessert menu.
Reasonable music charges apply to support the musicians. Yearly memberships are available.
Reservations are highly recommended
for weekend shows, but not required, space permitting! So, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, drop in (any night) and pay us a visit!

Big News at Acton Jazz!
We now have a truly great collection of vintage musical instruments that bring a special nowhere-else authenticity to our live jazz, etc., here!

www.pianomill.com

The Piano Mill of Hanover has made it possible, just in time for our 15th anniversary (9/20/96- present), for us to purchase & install the finest piano we have ever played here! Originally built in Cincinatti by Baldwin during the era of great American piano building in the early 1900's, our new 6'1" Baldwin Grand was rebuilt by the Piano Mill and placed at The Acton Jazz Cafe where it could be heard! It has a sound that matches its color: the richness of caramel, the integrity of beet.

We also have a Brambach grand piano (John Lennon had one!) on premises, lovingly donated by our friend & patron Al Ehrenfried! She's our blues piano now, when we really crave her bright sound and soft touch & character!

Also: a Hammond A100 organ, donated by our friend The Reverend Dale Parker, in memory of Charles "Coach" Ralston. This is a beautiful vintage instrument with classic and contageous sound. Come & play it!
Come & hear it!

We also express appreciation to drummer/ philosopher extraordinaire Kenwood Dennard for leaving one of his original drum kits here with us, from the Pearl Export Series. Good Karma in this house kit! Thanks, Kenwood!

We feel so fortunate to have these great house instruments.

Please use the "contact us" option for inquiries, comments, and advance reservation requests. Tickets for weekend shows may be purchased at a discount (up to 24 hours in advance) by clicking on "Get Tickets".  AX, Discover, MC/Visa happily accepted.
